This section shows how to set up options thate are applicable to the whole table:

Auto-complete all columns

 – when ticked all column entries are automatically completed when a new object is added to the table.

Disable all columns

 – when ticked all columns are disabled – the user can only view data – when a table is ‘Read Only’ this is ticked and disabled.

Photographs, documents, linked tables on/ off

 – These three buttons enable photos, documents and linked tables

Multi-display expression

 – this is the expression that appears in the multi-object dialog box to change this press the

 and the creat multi-column expression dialog box will show:

To add a column to the expression select the required column i.e. ID and press ‘Add column to expr.’.  This will add the column to the expression if you wish to also display some text add the text below the list of columns and press ‘Add column to expr.’  The above settings will simply show the Tree ID as seen below:

Whereas the following will show the tree number and the species (see the Multi-object dialog box):
